Our Purpose
Being diagnosed with a respiratory condition can feel very overwhelming and trying to manage a frightening symptom, such as Breathlessness, can feel impossible without specialist support and guidance. At Living Well Respiratory, our purpose is to help and enable you to live well with your respiratory condition, managing your symptoms to maximise control and comfort to improve your quality of life.
We understand the importance of being able to access specialist and individualised support from respiratory professionals when it is needed most, at a time, place and pace that suits you. We believe passionately that not every person is the same, nor are they defined by their condition. All assessments, treatments and management plans will be individually tailored to you, considering your lifestyle, personal goals and current medical management plan.
Our aim to help you live well can only be achieved when working alongside, and in collaboration with other key professionals in your care. The team will consult with your General Practitioner, Respiratory Consultant or specialist healthcare team, as and when required.
We can work with anyone who has symptoms caused by previous respiratory illness or chronic respiratory disease. Symptoms may include breathlessness; cough; phlegm or sputum; deconditioning; reduced mobility; fatigue; disturbed sleep; anxiety or musculoskeletal issues, especially around the rib cage, shoulders or neck. Conditions treated include but are not exclusive to: Asthma; Bronchiectasis; Breathing Pattern Disorder, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD); COVID; Fibrosis / Interstitial Lung Disease or Neuromuscular Conditions affecting breathing.
